Ask your child to get the number 14 using pencils and seeds. They should get 1 pencil and 4 seeds to make the number 14. Next give them another number, say 27. They should get 2 pencils and 7 seeds to make the number 27. This way help them with the first few numbers and then encourage them to count independently.

Explain the meaning of /you/ orally
Math:
On an A4 sheet or half an A4 sheet write down some large numbers between 1 to 30 and stick a few sheet on different walls all around the house. Call out one of the numbers by saying "Can you go find 24 and bring it to me" and your child has to go from wall to wall, room to room looking for that number and get it to you.
VARIATION: After a few days you can do a variation to this activity. You can ask the child to get any of the numbers and then ask them "Can you tell me which number you got?"

Additional activity: You can perform slow and fast actions in front of your child and ask them to guess if it is slow or fast. Some of the actions you can perform are: walking, hopping, clapping, blinking, waving, talking etc.
You can then give instructions to your child to perform actions fast or slow by saying "can you clap fast and show me", "can you walk slowly" etc.

Family game: In and out game (Land and water)
Draw a circular shape on the floor with chalk or put sheets of newspaper together and fix it on the floor and draw a circular shape on it. Show your child how to play the game, when you say 'in' they have to jump inside the circle and when you say 'out' they have to jump out of the circle.
